Milan Polymer Days (MIPOL2017)
The Milan Polymer Days, MIPOL2017, is a two-day international event organized by the University of Milan and the Italian National Research Council - Institute of Macromolecular Science (CNR – ISMAC), with the administrative support of INSTM, scheduled for 15-16 February 2017.
The University of Milan will welcome participants at Greppi Palace, located at a walking distance from the Milan Cathedral. Sessions will take place in the majestic Napoleonic Hall.
MIPOL2017 aims at providing a global platform forum for researchers and professionals from the Italian and international polymer scientific community. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and participate in interactive discussions in dedicated meeting rooms at the conference site.
Polymers are commonplace in everybody life and polymer research is continuously progressing. The range of their industrial applications is steadily broadening in diversified fields such as packaging, sport equipment, textiles, toys, housewares, furniture, biomedical devices, pharmaceuticals, biosensors etc. In addition, biopolymers are emerging as alternative to oil-based polymers, responding to the widespread public concern for environmental protection.
Contributions on synthesis, assembly and characterization of advanced macromolecular architectures are expected, namely:
- Polymer synthesis
- Supramolecular polymer chemistry
- Polymers in nanotechnology
- Polymeric biomaterials
- Advanced characterization of polymers
- Polymer technology
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations can be submitted at congress website. Any administrative question should be posted to email@example.com.
